Avoncroft Folk Dance Group

Dancers at Avoncroft
We are a traditional folk dance group that enjoys English country, American contra and Playford-style dances. We invite experienced callers and often have live music.

You may have seen this style of dancing in films like Pride and Prejudice and would like to give it a try! All dances are 'walked through' once to practise the moves and then called, so it is easy to join in.

We're a very friendly group and welcome newcomers, whether you are a complete novice or an experienced dancer. We often change partners for each dance, so you'll get to meet new people and dance with them. You don't need to bring a partner!

There is a small (cash) charge to cover costs, and a tea/coffee break midway.

For more details phone Liz Stanton on 01905 353995 or email liz@the-stantons.uk

You can also find us on Facebook.

We meet on Thursday evenings, 8pm till 10pm at
Avoncroft Arts Centre,
Redditch Road,
Stoke Heath, Bromsgrove, B60 4JR.

Please see our
Dance Diary to confirm dates before travelling.

Avoncroft Arts Centre is just off Redditch Road; look for the sign and turn into the drive that leads to the car park. There is plenty of free parking.
